Amels 6007 sets sail for open waters for the first time
Amels 60 meter motor yacht PROJECT 6007 is embarking on a new adventure as she sets sail for the first time into open waters. In the early hours of Wednesday, April 16, the luxurious Amels 6007 passed through the lock at Vlissingen, marking the beginning of her sea trials. On schedule for delivery to her Owner in Spring 2025, this Amels Limited Edition 200 is the seventh hull from the Dutch shipyard's award-winning next-generation 60-metre (197ft) design.
This Amels Limited Edition 200 was built in steel with hybrid power and propulsion technology,after an exterior design by Espen Oeino International and naval architecture by Damen Yachting. Her equipment on board facilitates a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising range of 4500 Nautical miles. Moreover, Amels 6007 is equipped to combine relaxed cruising and serious sailing in abundant weather conditions, by safeguarding both simple handling and easy maneuvering under minimal effort.
Her brand-new and custom interior, after a design by Harrison Eidsgaard and radiating comfort and luxury, can accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 capacious staterooms, each with convenient facilities. Remarkably, this marks the first collaboration with the London-based Studio on an Amels. Furthermore, 6 additional cabins can be used as preferred, both for crew member accommodation to further simplify yacht handling and to welcome family and friends on board for unforgettable adventures. Lastly, PROJECT 6007 boasts both ample up-to-date equipment and luxurious amenities that will safeguard an unimaginable luxury yacht experience on board.
Amels PROJECT 6007 was sold in January of 2025, with Rory and Sean Moran from Moran Yacht & Ship representing the owner. In combination with this Amels 60 being available for charter, the Owner and his energetic family intend to maximise their ownership enjoyment and time on board. Moreover, the Owner has disclosed plans for global travel and discovery with an extensive itinerary spanning multiple oceans and continents while travelling in unrivalled comfort, safety, luxury and style.
